Matthew 5:14-15

14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.
We should not forget who we are and whose we are. We should not forget who lit the lamp inside us or whose fire it is. He has not chosen to put us under a basket, but rather to place us on a stand to give light to everyone in the house. I pray we realize the position in which He has placed us in our world today. Let's ask Him to burn brighter in us, to fuel the fire of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and to use the power of the Holy Spirit that indwells the church to light the darkness...for this is the will of God concerning us.Matthew 5:16 (NLT)
