Daniel 10:12, 16-19 (ESV)
12 Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.
16 And behold, one in the likeness of the children of man touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke. I said to him who stood before me, “O my lord, by reason of the vision pains have come upon me, and I retain no strength.17 How can my lord's servant talk with my lord? For now no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”
18 Again one having the appearance of a man touched me and strengthened me. 19 And he said, “O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.” And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

What are the matters of your heart today? Have you humbled yourself seeking understanding? Like Daniel, your words have been heard by the Lord since the first day you prayed. Jesus told us in Matt. 6:8 that our Father knows what we need before we ask him. He is attentive to His children. Daniel went on to explain to the angel that all his strength was drained. Do you need strength? Do you need patience? Do you need faith? Will you trust the Lord to give you grace enough for this day? A friend said to me recently, "You have enough grace for today and tomorrow will have it's own grace." It comforted me to know I didn't have to try to figure out how I'd make it through the next day, week, month, or even year. Take heart, friend...your Lord has heard your prayers. He will strengthen and sustain you.
